Made for the moments nobody warned you about.
Calmo makes thoughtful, well-made things that solve the everyday problems of the first years. Not everything a baby could possibly need. Just the things that make the hard bits calmer.
The name
Calm, for the people who need it most.
New parents carry a hundred small worries. Is she eating enough? Will he choke on that? Why is everyone awake at 4am? None of them are big problems. All of them feel bigger when you're tired.
We started from that list. Each worry gets one product that properly solves it, a page that's honest about what it can and can't do, and a free 188-page guide with the calm answers. That's Calmo: we carry some of the worry, so you can enjoy more of the first year.

Worry first.
We don't stock products and then look for a reason. Every product starts with a worry in a parent's own words.
Fewer, better things.
Around fifty products, not two thousand random gadgets. If we can't explain why it's the best version, we don't sell it.
Safety in the open.
The safety standard is named on every product page, and the certificate is checked before it goes on sale.
The honest bits.
Every page says what the product won't do and how to use it safely. Nothing solves everything.
No tricks.
No fake sales, countdown clocks or invented reviews. One fair price, free delivery, and time to think.
Both parents.
Parenting isn't a mum-only job, so our shop isn't either. Whoever's on nights is who we're for.
For mums. And dads. And whoever's on nights.
Most baby shops talk to one parent.
